France Trip Day 14 – A perfect day at the beach (2010/5/223)
Almost the end of my France
trip, even reluctant, but still realize it is about time to say goodbye to the leisurely
sea breeze and sand.
Visit Etretat Falaises,
where the nature has shaped cliffs arching and stretching over the sea, one
after another, like doors of the time with velvet blue curtain.
Bright day, gentle yet
steady sunlight shines through, whilst the haze around us makes everything seem
to be blurry. 8 degrees sea wind, definitely not a good condition for any beach
related activity; however, still quite some people lie on the beach or swimming
in the sea, enjoy the transition of season changing.
Silly as us.
It’s a quiet day, the
haze somehow separates us from the outside noise, I can somehow see people
laughing, talking, water splashing, and wind whispering. I’m seeing all these
happening, with silence in my ears, like a setting in a fairy land painting.
Time is frozen; at least
that’s what I expect, that we can stay, with laughter. At this blurry beach, on
a perfect day.
