I feel so lonely


He dances beautifully on the stage, moves, stretches, reaches, bounces, swings, bends, and pauses, as smooth as serenade.

All at a sudden, “I feel so lonely.” He says.


Unexpectedly, then everyone just burst out laughing. Like it is their cue to laugh, someone must send them a little secret conspiracy guideline manual before the show.  

This young slim elegant dancing star stands on stage by himself, whilst the other dancers stand in a group about 3 feet away from him. His head leans to one shoulder, eyes looking at the flour, posing as a sorrowful question.

Audience laughs.

The wave of sound is floating in the theatre, climbing up to every floor.

Then back to his spine.

“I’m not unique, I’m just alone.” The last confession from this talented man on the stage is whispering around the seats, weakly fighting with the whole room with laugher.

Slowly steady.
