Yesterday ache
She holds
his hand, he does likewise.
Like all
the ordinary does, the conversation still goes on.
Yet his
mind is already traveling somewhere else when he drinks his coffee with no
sugar and milk. And her eyes get lost in the morning mist.
It’s a
bright dining room with beige-coloured walls. The morning light coming through
the window to the space warms the cold mosaic porcelain floor. It shades this moment.
A moment
is frozen by itself.
Or maybe
they are in fact each other’s past,
Just
happen to meet and sit together for a cup of coffee.
The
coffee is getting colder and colder,
by time
maze.
Tick
Tack
Louder
and louder in this quiet room.
